The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics [TNT | 7:35 PM ET]

HEAT: (-1, O/U 189.5) The most anticipated season in history begins tonight, as Miami gets their season underway. Miami is expected to challenge for the best regular season ever, as well as compete for a championship. The addition of F Chris Bosh and G LeBron James in the offseason have brought huge expectations to this team. With these 2 joining G Dwyane Wade, the Heat have an All-NBA trio for years to come. Miami has a tough season opener, as they have to battle a team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. Not only that, but the Celtics are a veteran team that will force the Heat to share the basketball. The Heat will need others besides the Big Three to step up and be a difference maker, no easy task on the road. The Heat are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite up to 4.5 points. Miami is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against the Eastern Conference. The Heat are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games overall.

Heat are 4-1 ATS last 5 games as a road favorite.
Over is 6-1 last 7 games as a favorite.

Key Injuries - G Dwyane Wade (hamstring) is probable.

Projected Score: 91

CELTICS: Boston opens up a new season against a team they dominated last year. The Celtics won all 3 regular season matchups last season, and also eliminated the Heat from the playoffs last year in 5 games. Obviously the Heat are a new team this year, but there is little doubt that Boston gains confidence when they see those Heat uniforms. Boston retained nearly everyone from last year's team, and have brought in a few aging bigs. C's Shaquille O'Neal and Jermaine O'Neal will look to fortify the Boston front court this season. This appears to be the final effort to bring another championship to Boston this season. PG Rajon Rondo is now the best player on this team, and he will be counted on all season long to lead this team to victory. F Paul Pierce will look to keep those legs moving, as he would love to improve on his 18.6 PPG scoring average from last season. The Celtics are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games against the Eastern Conference. Boston is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games overall. The Celtics are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against the NBA Southeast.

Celtics are 9-2-1 ATS last 12 games as a home underdog.
Under is 4-0 last 4 home games.

Key Injuries - C Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) is probable.

Projected Score: 92 (UNDER-Total of the Day)

Pick 'n' Roll: Today's best NBA bets

Miami Heat at Boston Celtics (+1, 191.5)

The NBA is turning over a new page when the Miami Heat take the floor at the TD Garden Tuesday night. Just in case you thought it was going to be the same ‘ole story, Miami has gone and changed the characters – at least one.

Miami guard Dwyane Wade is dumping his “Flash” nickname, which was the title former teammate Shaquille O’Neal bequeathed upon him during his arrival in South Beach in 2004. Wade just so happens to be up against O’Neal and his new team, the Boston Celtics, Tuesday night.

“I haven’t really paid much attention myself. We’ve been focused on what we need to do here,” Wade told reporters when asked about O’Neal’s debut with Boston.

While the Heat will only get a small dose of Shaq Tuesday, they know they need to watch out for the rest of the Celtics, who are the defending Eastern Conference champs. The importance of this opening game isn’t lost on Boston, regardless of its experienced and savvy roster.

"This is a special situation," Celtics coach Doc Rivers told reporters. "Let's just be honest, everybody is excited about it. Our guys try to downplay it until you walk through the locker room and hear them talking about it. The film is on all day, watching Miami.

"I think everyone is excited. Once LeBron took his talents to South Beach, I think everyone got excited."

Miami has a ton of pressure on it to start the schedule strong and is well aware that teams have painted a target on them. Expect this first game of the season to have a playoff atmosphere.

Pick: Miami -1

Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Lakers (-7.5, 195.5)

It is a big night in La-La Land Tuesday.

The Lakers will hoist another banner to the rafters of the Staples Center and sport the latest addition to their jewelry collection. However, lost in the glitz and glam of Hollywood is the return of one of the NBA’s biggest stars.

Houston Rockets 7-foot-5 center Yao Ming is back on the court for the first time since May 2009, but will be limited in his first game since suffering multiple fractures to his foot.

Rockets coach Rick Adelman told the media he will monitor Yao in the first six minutes of the game and decide how much he’ll play from there. There has been a soft 24-minute cap put on the center’s floor time.

“He is just such a force around the basket,” Adelman told reporters. “He can score. The biggest thing is getting his balance and his timing down. The ball comes off the boards, for instance. He might be a count late to get it. He's not reacting like he used to.

“Right now, he can't expect too much. I just like the way he went through it. You can see the presence he gives us on the court. His presence is huge.”

Yao will be a huge asset against a tough Lakers frontcourt, which is missing starting center Andrew Bynum. That leaves Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Theo Ratliff to tangle with the tallest player in the NBA.

Yao’s impact, while limited in minutes, should give Houston just enough of an edge to make the defending champs sweat during their title celebrations.

Pick: Houston +7.5

Ice picks: Today's best NHL bets

Edmonton Oilers at Calgary Flames (-175, 5.5)

All the Calgary Flames needed was a healthy Rene Bourque to ignite their offense.

After failing to get any sort of offense going in the first few games of the season, the Flames have scored 18 goals over their last five games. That has led them to wins in four of those contests, while Bourque has buried five tallies in consecutive wins heading into the third installment of the Battle of Alberta this season.

With Bourque now matched up with Niklas Hagman and Olli Jokinen, that has taken some pressure off Jarome Iginla and Alex Tanguay on the top line.

“The sky is the limit for this guy,” Calgary coach Brent Sutter said of Bourque. “It’s just doing it on a nightly basis. It’s consistency. With his size, strength, his shot, his toughness. You look at players in the past, the Cam Neelys. The Rick Tocchets. These types of guys who were dominant players of the past with their size and physical presence on the ice.”

Those are some big comparisons to make for a kid who broke out with 27 goals last year, but he does have the raw talent if nothing else.

Meanwhile, Miikka Kiprusoff has been fantastic between the pipes. He has recorded two shutouts over his last three starts and boasts a 2.14 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage so far this season.

Calgary has won eight of the last nine meetings between the two clubs.

Pick: Flames

Florida Panthers at Toronto Maple Leafs (-165, 5.5)

All of those warm, fuzzy winning feelings Toronto Maple Leafs bettors were enjoying early this season are long gone.

The Leafs have dropped three straight games after opening the year 4-0 and have scored just four times during the losing streak.

Coach Ron Wilson isn’t taking the slump lying down. He benched first-line center Tyler Bozak last week against the Rangers and then cut captain Dion Phaneuf’s ice time considerably over the weekend. Even Phil Kessel, who has six goals and two assists, has spent some time on the bench early this season, so Wilson is definitely getting his message across.

Wilson also dropped Kris Versteeg from the top line in favor of Nikolai Kulemin in Monday’s practice to shake things up a bit.

The club’s defense hasn’t been spectacular by any means either. They still struggle with breakouts from their own end, but have been pretty good at limiting the number of pucks getting through to the net, allowing only 26.7 shots per game.

The Leafs have just two wins in their last eight games against the Panthers.

Pick: Panthers

Bettors' best friend: Tuesday's wagering tips

Lines to watch
Boston Celtics opened as 1-point underdogs at home against the Miami Heat. The total has dropped from 193 to 189.5.

Portland Trailblazers opened at -5.5 against the Phoenix Suns, but that line is up to -7.5 currently.

Los Angeles Lakers were set as 9-point favorites at the open. They are now at -7.5 with the total down to 196 after opening at 202.

Weather to watch
Louisiana Tech at Boise State – There is a 50 percent chance of showers for Tuesday’s game.

Who’s hot
Florida Panthers have won six of their last eight meetings with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Vancouver Canucks are 51-20 in their last 71 home games.

Boise State has covered in nine of their last 12 conference games.

Phoenix Suns have covered in four of their last five games against Portland.

Who’s not
Phoenix Coyotes have dropped four of their last five.

Edmonton Oilers have won just one of their last nine meetings with the Calgary Flames.

Key stat
72.4 – The Boise State Broncos’ red zone conversion rate (42-of-58) since they scored just three touchdowns in seven trips to the red zone against Louisiana Tech last season. The Broncos got a scare in that game when they gave up 28 points in the second half. They ended up with a 45-35 win as 20-point favorites.

Injury that shouldn’t be overlooked
Josh Childress (finger), Phoenix Suns – Childress will reportedly be a game-time decision after fracturing his right index finger in a exhibition game against the Golden State Warriors last week.

Game of the day
Miami Heat at Boston Celtics (-7.5, 196)

Notable quotable
"There's never been an opening game that has been more heavily anticipated. I do believe that people are definitely excited to see them more than they're excited about seeing us. Truly they know, as a team, what we represented. The two teams are Eastern Conference powerhouses. It's going to be a game." – Celtics guard Ray Allen said of Tuesday’s Miami-Boston opener.

Notes and tips
Kobe Bryant has told Los Angeles Kings coach Phil Jackson he wants to play 30 minutes in Tuesday’s opener despite some concerns about his surgically repaired knee. Bryant averaged 12.6 points and three assists per game in limited work in the preseason.

Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash isn’t expecting to be playing in the playoffs this year. According to SB Nation Arizona's Seth Pollack, Nash said if he was "outside this picture and a betting man, I would probably pick us to be outside of the playoffs," noting all of the team’s changes and that it might be better to use this season as a rebuilding year.

Shaquille O’Neal is expected to start at center in his debut with the Boston Celtics against the Miami Heat on Tuesday. Celtics coach Doc Rivers wouldn’t officially name Shaq the starter, but did say it will “most likely” be O’Neal.

Tuesday Best NCAA Bet

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Boise State Broncos (-38, 64)

Tuesday night college football betting action heads to the Smurf Turf this week, as the Boise State Broncos try desperately to impress the pollsters against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

For La Tech, a win in this game would just be tremendous. However, we recognize that the goal for the Bulldogs is going to be to achieve respectability without getting blown away. A quarterback quandary was in place in Ruston earlier this year, but after watching QB Ross Jenkins throw for 422 yards and three scores two weeks ago against the Idaho Vandals, there is certainly no doubt about the man that is going to be calling the shots on Tuesday. RB Lennon Creer is respectable, and there is no shame in the fact that he has rushed for 568 yards and has four scores on the season. The problem comes from the defense, particularly in games against good teams. The Navy Midshipmen, Texas A&M Aggies, Hawaii Warriors, and the aforementioned Vandals have combined to score an average of 40.3 points per game against Louisiana Tech this year. The rest of the schedule has only combined for a grand total of 25 points. Unfortunately for the Techsters, this isn’t Grambling, Southern Miss, or Utah State that it is playing on Tuesday night.

We could go on and on and on about just how good the Broncos have been this year. The offense ranks No. 4 in the country in total yardage at 523.8 yards per game, while the defense is allowing nearly 1/3 of that, at just 210.2 yards per game, the best mark in the land. Now, we know that the Broncos haven’t played much of a schedule yet this season, but this isn’t much of a team that it is playing against either. There is no reason to think that they cannot keep their marks intact this week. Boise State ranks in the Top 15 in the nation in every single major offensive and defensive category, which is a feat regardless of who you are playing every Saturday in major college football. When you’ve got a quarterback that takes as good care of the football as QB Kellen Moore does, your offense has the potential to make a ton of scoreboard operators cry. Moore has completed just under 70 percent of his passes, is averaging 261.7 yards per game through the air and has the best TD/INT ratio in the nation at 16/1. RB Doug Martin is a man to watch as well. He might only have four scores, but he is certainly a load to try to take down. Martin has rushed the ball 74 times for 544 yards, an average of 7.4 yards per carry this season. Don’t forget about RB Jeremy Avery, RB DJ Harper, RB Matt Keiserman, and RB Jarvis Hodge. All four of those men have at least 130 rushing yards on the season as well.

Simply put, Boise State has everything going for it in this one. The Broncos have beaten their four teams that aren’t from major conferences by the average score of 54-5 this year, scoring at least 48 in all four games and allowing just three total touchdowns. The Techsters against teams with Top 25 potential? Losses to Hawaii and Texas A&M 41-21 and 48-16 respectively. La Tech is also just 17-41-1 ATS in its L/59 road games. This one shouldn’t be close.

Pick: Boise State Broncos -37.5

Tale Of The Tape: Louisiana Tech-Boise State Breakdown
By Covers Staff

If you’re suffering from a football hangover following this weekend, the best thing for you is the hair of the dog - meaning more football.
There is college football action from the WAC Tuesday, when the No. 2 Boise State Broncos host the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on the big blue turf. Here’s a quick rundown of both sides:

Offense

Everybody knows about Boise State’s offensive prowess. The Broncos rank fourth in the country in yards per game (523.8) and are averaging over 47 points an outing. The pass attack, led by Heisman hopeful Kellen Moore, goes for more than 300 yards a contests while the running game is a productive 12th in the land, putting up about 223 yards per game.

The Bulldogs rank fifth in total offense in the WAC, averaging 23.4 points on 397 yards per game. Louisiana Tech does a good job mixing it up with the football, getting 153 rushing yards and 244 passing yards an outing. Junior running back Lennon Creer is third in the conference in rushing, putting up an average of 81 yards and scoring four touchdowns on the ground this season.

Edge: Boise State

Defense

While the Broncos offense steals the headlines, their defense is just as potent. Boise State is the top ranked stop unit when it comes to yards allowed, giving up an average of only 210 yards per game. Those numbers should be taken with a grain of salt due to the fact that the Broncos have pitched shutouts to bottom feeders New Mexico State and San Jose State in the past three games. They do, however, make life tough on opposing passers and have proved they are legit against the air attacks of Virginia Tech and Oregon State.

The Bulldogs are third last in total defense in the WAC, giving up more than 448 yards a contest. Louisiana Tech gave up 533 yards to Idaho two Saturdays ago, but came out on top of the 48-35 shootout. The Bulldogs are dead last in passing defense in the conference but have been tough against the run. They average 152 rushing yards against, which is third in the WAC.

Edge: Boise State

Special Teams

Boise State’s special teams are probably the one area that isn’t all that special. The Broncos are fourth in the WAC in kickoff returns, picking up just 22.33 yards per return while averaging just over 12 yards per punt return. They have yet to run a return back for a touchdown.

The kick coverage is even less impressive. Boise State ranks last in the WAC in punt coverage, allowing 19.20 yards per punt, and is fifth in kickoff coverage, giving up 21.26 yards per kickoff. The Broncos allowed a punt-return touchdown in their win over Oregon State in late September but have blocked two field goal/punts this season.

Louisiana Tech is picking up just six yards per punt return this season while averaging only 22.14 yards per kick return. On the other side of the ball, the Bulldogs have given up an average of 8.91 per punt and one return touchdown, which is better than BSU's special teams. On kickoffs, opponents are picking up under 20 yards per return (19.26), which is second lowest in the WAC. Louisiana Tech also blocked a punt in its 13-12 loss to Southern Miss in Week 4.

Edge: Louisiana Tech

Word On The Street

“They were in the shotgun and some spread stuff last year but it’s much different. This is all spread. A lot of big spits. No-huddle, going fast. They were going no-huddle in the past but they weren’t going really, really fast. It’s quite a bit different.” – BSU head coach Chris Peterson, talking about the Bulldogs’ fast-paced offense (Boise Arbiter).

"(The turf) is different and their crowd really gets into it. They always pull a great crowd; they're going to be loud. I didn't notice (the turf) after a few minutes. After a little while, you just start playing ball. It all blends in. I think a lot of guys will actually be excited to go play on it." – Louisiana Tech quarterback Ross Jenkins, talking about BSU’s home-field advantage (Shreveport Times).

Final Score Prediction: Boise State 48, Louisiana Tech 17

Louisiana Tech At Boise State: What Bettors Need To Know
By Covers Staff

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Boise State Broncos (-38)

Boise State looks to take another step forward in its quest for a national championship appearance when it hosts fast-paced Louisiana Tech Tuesday.

Line History

Oddsmakers opened BSU as a 37-point favorite which climbed a half point to its current standing with nearly 75 percent of action on the Broncos.

Boise State is 5-1 against the spread this season and has gone 9-3 ATS in its last 12 WAC games. Louisiana Tech is just 3-4 ATS on the year and a dismal 17-41-1 ATS in its last 59 road contests. The Broncos have are 4-2 ATS versus the Bulldogs in their past six but just 4-6 in their last 10 meetings going back to 1998.

These teams have combined for a 5-2 over/under record in their last seven head-to-head meetings. Boise State is 4-2 over/under this season while Louisiana Tech boast a 3-3-1 over/under mark.

Need For Speed

The No. 2 Broncos fared well over the first half of the slate, which included impressive victories over Virginia Tech and Oregon State. But Boise State (6-0, 2-0) certainly can’t afford a slip-up against the Bulldogs in the Western Athletic Conference matchup.

First-year Louisiana Tech coach Skip Dykes is speeding things up on offense with a no-huddle attack designed to keep defenses off guard and unable to rely on their normal substitution patterns. The Bulldogs (3-4, 2-1) had things clicking in their most recent game when they rolled up 683 yards in a 48-35 victory over Idaho.

Bucking Broncos

Yards and points will be much harder to come by against a Boise State defense that ranks first in total defense (210.2 yards per game), first in rushing defense (59.3) and second in scoring defense (12.3 points). The Broncos haven’t allowed a single point in two WAC games, blanking New Mexico State and San Jose State.

Boise State is eighth against the pass (150.8) and that will make it challenging for Louisiana Tech quarterback Ross Jenkins to repeat the stellar performance he had against Idaho. Jenkins was the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for a career-best 422 yards and three touchdowns against Idaho.

Taulib Ikharo (31 receptions) and Richie Casey (28) have been Louisiana Tech’s top receivers. Lennon Creer leads the Bulldogs with 568 rushing yards.

Gimmie Moore

Even harder than scoring against Boise State is trying to stop the Broncos’ well-oiled offense led by Heisman Trophy candidate Kellen Moore. Boise State ranks fourth in both scoring offense (47.5) and total offense (523.8).

Moore is completing 69.5 percent of his passes and has 16 touchdowns against one interception. He has thrown for 1,567 yards.

Receiver Titus Young is having a fabulous season with 33 receptions for 581 yards. Young and Austin Pettis (25 receptions) each have caught four touchdown passes.

Doug Martin leads Boise State in rushing with 544 yards.

Louisiana Tech has allowed 35 or more points four points and is 113th in total defense (448.7). The passing defense is among the worst in the nation, allowing 296.7 yards per game. Only Texas Tech and Tulsa are giving up more yards through the air.

Defensive end Matt Broha has been a bright spot with nine tackles for loss, including six sacks.

Weather

The blue turf at Broncos Stadium in Boise will be slick with the forecast calling for rain Tuesday night. Showers and a game-time temperature in the low 40s could cool off the offenses. There will be a slight breeze to go along with the rain, which will continue throughout the night.

Hondo made a giant mistake last night by going with the 'Boys, who proved to be extremely unmanly in driving the NRN (nasty red number) up to 2,905 loscutoffs.

Tonight, Mr. Aitch will try to stay sharp before the Series with a 10-unit play on the Celtics to overcome the talents LeBron James brought with him to Miami.
